Down filled items
Use for
Jackets, sleeping bags, pillows and other down-filled items.
Notes
– Remove air from the items before washing to prevent an excessive
build-up of foam. To do this either push the items into a narrow
laundry bag to compress them or tie the items together with a
washable strap.
– Observe the instructions on the wash care label.
Curtains
Use for
Curtains, including net curtains, specified as machine-washable by
the manufacturer.
Notes
– To remove dust, the Pre-wash option is selected automatically.
– For curtains which crease easily, reduce the spin speed or
deselect the spin.
– Remove weights from curtains.
First wash
Use for
New cotton, towelling and synthetic items.
Note
Use this programme to wash any manufacturing residues out of new
items.
Pillows
Use for
Synthetic filled washable pillows.
Note
– Remove air from the pillow before washing to prevent an excess-
ive build-up of foam. To do this either push the pillow into a nar-
row laundry bag to compress it or tie the pillow together with a
washable strap.
– Observe the instructions on the wash care label.
