BASIC INFORMATION Dear customer, From today, washing will be easier than ever before. Your Amica washer-dryer is exceptionally easy to use and extremely efficient. After reading these Operating Instructions, operating the appliance will be easy. Before being packaged and leaving the manufacturer, the appliance was thoroughly checked with regard to safety and functionality.
NOTES ON SAFETY Use only those detergents and additives which l Detergents are designed for automatic washing machines, especially when using the COTTON 90°C programme. Do not use any agents containing solvents, as these may damage certain parts of the appli- ance, or cause them to emit poisonous gases.

NOTES ON SAFETY Checking stability Once the appliance is in position and levelled, it must be checked to ensure it rests firmly on all four legs. In order to check this, press down each corner of the appli- ance in turn to see if it moves. Safe, long-term and reliable operation of the appliance depends on it being correctly positioned and level.
INSTALL THE APPLIANCE I. Remove the transport protection (keep the locking bolts for future use, e.g. when moving house). Compared to level 2 (standard), the ap- pliance takes approximately 8% less water, the duration of the washing pha- se is approximately 10 min. shorter, the temperature setting is not changed. The Pre-wash function extends the wash cycle by approximately 25 minutes. The laundry is prewashed before the main wash cycle begins.

DESCRIPTION OF CONTROL PANEL 6. Dry level selector button When you select the drying time the appliance will dry the laundry with hot air at the end of the washing phase. Select the drying time by pressing the button repeatedly. The time depends on the amount of the laundry, type of fabric and moisture content.

DESCRIPTION OF CONTROL PANEL 7. Delay Start button Start Delay specifies the delay in hours until the programme will start. You can delay the wash cycle by 0,5-23 hours. Press and hold the button to set the time after which washing is to commence.
USING THE APPLIANCE I. Select Programme 1. Set the programme selector knob to the desired programme (see the table further on). 2. Change temperature, spin speed or activate available additional functions to modify the programme to your individual needs. 3. Press the [Start/ Pause] button once door lock is engaged, the programme will start after about 6 seconds.
SPECIAL PROGRAMS 1. The Allergy Safe programme This programme is designed for washing clothes of children and people with sensitive skin. Main wash is carried out at a temperature of 60°C (temperature setting: 60/50/40/30/- - „cold water”), followed by four rinses. Additionally, during all stages of rinsing water is heated to 30°C.
TABLE OF PROGRAMMES NOTE: Time given in the table is an estimate only. It can differ from the actual washing time depending on temperature, water pressure and quantity of laundry loaded. The time is automatically updated during the wash cycle and it is normal for it to stop or skip. * - standard programmes for washing cotton fabrics at 60°C.
TROUBLESHOOTING Problem Probable cause/Solution The washing machine is not - Turn the tap on - Clean the mesh filter on the supply hose working - Close the door - Press the [Start/ Pause] button Water leaks - Properly connect the water intake. The load in the appliance has not - Replace the load evenly in the drum, clean the pump filter.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING Never clean the product’s casing or plastic parts using solvents or strong, abrasive cleaning agents (e.g. washing powders or creams)! Only use delicate liquid cleaning agents and soft cloths. Do not use sponges. Clean the pump filter every 20 washes or so.

PRACTICAL TIPS ON WASHING IV. Conservation Reducing energy and water consumption. Garments which are only lightly soiled should be washed using the appropriate wash programme, i.e. Cotton Eco. The appliance detects partial load. For partial load, when using the Express programme, the appliance will reduce water and energy consumption and shorten the wash cycle.
