CONTROLS / GENERAL INFORMATION
Controls ( see figure 1 )
1 OPEN 2 ..............opens the CD lid.
2 ALBUM ...............selects next / previous album.
3 MODE .................selects the different playing possibilities:
; turn on / off ESP ( Electronic Skip Protection )
FUNCTION
4 DBB ( Dynamic Bass Boast )
............................Selects the bass.
5 §
.......................skips and searches forwards.
§
6
.......................skips and searches backwards.
7 ............................display.
8 9.........................stops playback, clears a program or switches the player off.
9 2; ......................switches the player on, starts or pauses playback.
0 PROGRAM ..........programs tracks, reviews the program
! RESUME .............stores the last position of a track played
HOLD...................locks all buttons
OFF......................switches RESUME and HOLD off
@ LINE OUT/p........3.5 mm LINE OUT/ headphone jack to connect the head-
phone or another audio input of an additional appliance.

Batteries ( not supplied )
Inserting batteries
• Open the battery compartment and insert either
2 normal or alkaline batteries type AA (LR6, UM3).
Old and new or different types of batteries should
not be combined.
Indication of empty batteries
• Replace the battery or connect the mains adapter as
soon as
blinks.
Remove batteries if they are empty or if the unit will
not be used for a long time.
Batteries contain chemical substances, so they
should be disposed of properly.
CAUTION
Use of controls or adjustments or performance of procedures other than
herein may result in hazardous radiation exposure.
Both the model number and production number are located on the
bottom of the set.
