Shutting down the system

1. Close the gas shut-off valve.
2. Switch OFF the main circuit breaker or the power supply
and safeguard against unauthorized reconnection.
WARNING
Mains voltage can be extremely dangerous.
For maintenance work, isolate the system from the
power supply.
3. Remove the boiler front cover (see page 10).
4. Disconnect power cable with plug 40 . Then
disconnect the burner cables with plugs 3 A/ 3 B,
15 A/15 B, 40/156 , 41 and in addition to plug
145 from the burner control unit and pull out of the
burner casing.

Opening the boiler door

1. Accessing the boiler (see page 10).
2. Loosen the retaining clamp and disconnect the
combustion air hose from the bottom of the air inlet
damper.
3. Remove the gas supply pipe.
4. Undo the six screws on the boiler door (if necessary,
undo connecting cable plug-in connections) and open
the boiler door.
Note: Scratches inside the combustion chamber can lead
to corrosion. Never put tools or other objects into
the combustion chamber.
CAUTION
The boiler door can cause damage and personal injury
if it swings shut. After opening the boiler door take
measures to prevent it from swinging shut.
CAUTION
Touching hot components can cause burns. Allow the
burner to cool down before beginning work.
