Profile Description
Car
This can only be activated when a car
kit specifically designed for your phone
is connected to your device. The Car
profile is deactivated when you remove
the car kit from your device. You cannot
select or unselect Car from the Profile
item on the Home screen. It has been
placed in the Profiles menu in order to
allow you to confirm (via a check mark)
that it has been automatically selected
upon connecting to a car kit.
Speakerphone
This is automatically selected by the
device while you are in a call and after
you have activated the speakerphone.
The Speakerphone profile is deactivated
when you turn off speakerphone during
or just as you are ending a call. You
cannot select or unselect Speakerphone
from the Profile item on the Home
screen. It has been placed in the Profiles
menu in order to allow you to confirm
(via a check mark) that it has been
automatically selected upon turning on
the speakerphone.
