Installation Materials Installation Kits Marvair ComPac units are shipped with one 12 Ga. "L" shaped bottom bracket. If you have not yet unpacked the unit, follow the instructions in section 2.1. All units have built-in full length mounting flanges. Therefore, use of mounting brackets is not required. -

Attach the perimeter flange of the wall sleeve to the framed opening with appropriately sized screws. Since electric heat can be added after the unit has been installed, Marvair recommends that all installations have the 1” (25.4 mm) clearance around the wall sleeve. -

Click on the Service and Parts in the menu on the left hand side of the Home page. From the drop down menu, select Exploded Views. - Page 42 (25.4 mm) clearance must extend on all sides of the supply duct for the first 3 feet (1 meter) from the unit. IMPORTANT: Marvair requires a minimum of 1" (25.4 mm) from the surface of any supply ducts to combustible material for the first 3 feet (1 meter) of the duct.
