1. Turn off instrument and disconnect transmitter from all
circuits before cleaning.
2. Do not use anything other than water or a neutral
detergent to clean instrument.
3. Wait for the instrument to dry before using again.

6.4 Replacing the battery

If the low battery symbol appears
on the display the battery
needs
to be replaced. Steps for
replacing
the battery on either the
transmitter or receiver are as
follows:
1. Turn off the instrument
and disconnect from any
circuits.
2. Unscrew the back cover
and remove cover from
instrument.
3. Remove used battery and
replace with a new one.
4. Replace cover and secure
to instrument.
1. Make sure all equipment is turned off and instrument is
disconnected from any circuit before replacing the battery.
2. Only use the type of battery specified in the specifications.
3. If the instrument will not be used for an extended period of
time, take out the battery before storage to avoid battery
leakage.
4. Please properly dispose of used batteries.
1. Always observe polarity when
installing a new battery to
avoid damage to the
instrument or personal injury.
2. Do not put battery in fire or
connect the two poles to avoid
the risk of explosion.
3. Do not dismantle battery. The
electrolyte contained in a
battery has a high risk of
corrosion if exposed. If the
electrolyte contacts skin or
clothes, quickly rinse affected
area with water. If electrolyte
contacts eyes, rinse with cold
water and contact a physician
immediately.

6.5 Calibration

To ensure the instrument continues to deliver precision
measurements, regular manufacturer calibration is
recommended on a yearly basis. If the instrument is used
very frequently or regularly used in poor conditions,
shorten the calibration period. If the instrument is not
used often, the calibration period can be extended.
