If the Jandy AquaLink remote R0687300 turns on but displays "waiting," possible steps to troubleshoot include:

1. Check the indoor control center (J-box). If only the red light is on and the green light flashes rarely, it may indicate a communication issue.
2. Try pressing the reset button on the J-box. If this does not resolve the issue, continue troubleshooting.
3. Confirm that the remote has fresh batteries, which you have already done.
4. Power cycle the system by turning it off and back on. If the remote still shows “waiting,” the system is not establishing a connection.
5. Inspect the antenna or wireless transmitter for damage or disconnection.

If the problem continues, professional service may be required to diagnose or replace faulty communication components.
