Child Seat Restraint Suitability for Seat Positions
Adjust the passenger seat to its fully rearward and lowest
position while securing a childseat. An improperly installed
child restraint could lead to serious injury in an accident.
Be sure to follow the child restraint system (child seat)
manufacturer's instructions for belt routing. Infants and
small children should never be carried on your lap. Also,
do not put the same seat belt around both your child and
yourself.
