Many problems have a simple cause and a correspondingly simple solution. The following section describes a few
difficulties you may encounter, and the measures you need to take to cure them. If you find it impossible to solve a
problem with the help of these notes please disconnect the unit from the mains and ask your authorised  specialist
dealer for advice.
Machine does not switch
on.

Trouble shooting

Cause 1:
Mains lead not plugged in correctly.
Remedy:
Check connection, push connector in firmly.
Cause 2:
Powerful interference or electro-static discharge has disrupted the device's
processor.
Remedy:
Disconnect the unit from the mains for at least one minute.
Cause 3:
Mains fuse burned out.
Remedy:
Have the mains fuse replaced by an authorised specialist workshop. The rating
of the replacement fuse must agree with the specification printed on the unit.
Cause 4:
The Power Link cable is not correctly screwed in place.
Remedy:
Check the Power Link connection: the retaining collars must be firmly tightened.
Cause 5:
The A 3000 HV / PA 3100 HV connected is defective, and cannot switch the
PS 3000 HV on.
Remedy:
Please contact your local  specialist workshop.
Cause 6:
The soft start circuit has detected a fault and the LED flashes red also after the
device was disconnected from mains for about 10 seconds.
Remedy:
Please contact your local  specialist workshop.

The HV Link cable is not correctly connected.

Remedy:
Check the HV Link connection. Push the plugs firmly into the sockets.
Cause:
The capacitors in the A 3000 HV / PA 3100 HV must be discharged before the
PS 3000 HV can be switched on.
Remedy:
Switch the A 3000 HV / PA 3100 HV off, then wait about five minutes for the
capacitors to become discharged.
