It converts the analog signal from analytical instruments to digital data and transmits it to the host computer for further processing.

    Front Panel The front panel of the 35900E Series II has two buttons and three LED (light emitting diodes) indicators for each channel. There are also four indicator LED indicators at the bottom of the panel to convey general information about the state of the 35900E Series II interface.

There are no user-serviceable parts inside the 35900E Series The 35900E Series II was designed for easy assembly and disassembly of all the replaceable modules.

    1 Place the unit on a table so that the back is visible to you (cables visible). 2 Turn off the unit and remove the power cord. When removing or replacing the subassembly inside the 35900E Series II, be certain WA R N I N G the power cord is unplugged from the rear of the unit in order to avoid a potentially dangerous electrical shock.

    WA R N I N G are no user-serviceable parts inside the 35900E Series II. The printed circuit (PC) boards in the 35900E Series II can be damaged by electrostatic C A U T I O N discharge. Do not touch any of the boards unless it is absolutely necessary. If you must handle them, wear a grounded wrist strap and take other antistatic precautions.
