There are three standard installation options which provide the best stability for the
Astral-TC. Depending on your situation, you will have requested one or more of the
Astral-TC Mounting Kits at the time of your order. Either the Concrete Mount Kit, or the In-
Ground Fitting Mount Kit.
1. CONCRETE MOUNT KIT - This kit includes a base plate, four (4) plate bolts, and
one (1) allen wrench. Recommend installation by a licensed contractor.
2. IN-GROUND MOUNT KIT - This kit includes in-ground fitting, four (4) plate bolts,
and one (1) allen wrench. Recommend installation by a licensed contractor.
3. FREE STANDING STEEL FRAME - You may opt to use a free standing base for
your Polaris umbrella. We recommend a minimum of a 400-700lbs. base weight for
this umbrella (depending on the size of your umbrella). NOTE: If using a free-standing
steel frame, wind guidelines change from light to moderate winds to light winds only.
NOTE: REFER TO BASE WEIGHT GUIDE AND A SEPARATE
MANUAL FOR BASE ASSEMBLY PRIOR TO PROCEEDING.

Two-person team is recommended for assembly.
By now, you have installed your adapter plate A (if using a mount kit or steel base
plate), or have set up your steel frame base.
Remove all packaging material from under canopy. Lift complete umbrella and install
onto adapter plate A or steel frame. Bolt umbrella to adapter plate to secure umbrella in
place.
You are now ready to operate your umbrella!
