Installing an ASUS HFI-OMNI card

When you install a Intel
to socket 2, you can install an ASUS HFI-OMNI card to the x8 slot on the butterfly riser card
bracket and enjoy all the benefits of the 100G Intel
®
1. Install a Intel Xeon
Series with OMNI-PATH FABRIC to CPU socket 2.
Refer to section 2.2 Central Processing Unit (CPU)
for the steps on installing a CPU.
2. Remove the screw that secures the butterfly riser card bracket to the chassis.
