Verify safety start interlock system
Visually inspect unit for loose hardware and/or damaged parts
Visually inspect tires
Check oil level, engine (1)
Clean air intake screen (7)
Check fuel level
Blades - sharpen & securely fastened
Discharge chute - securely in place & in lowest position
Check tire pressure with a gauge
Clean engine and transmission compartment
Replace engine air cleaner element (4)(8)
Grease front wheel bearings

Clean cylinder and head fins (8)
Check battery connections
Clean engine exterior (8)
