Stirring bar breakaway monitoring
A stirring bar breakaway is detected, stop the stirring function
to briefly to catch the stirring rod. After that, rebooted to the
previously set target speed. A detected stirring bar breakaway is
indicated by the symbol (
the next 3 minutes, with no set speed change again to a stirring bar
breakaway, is after the catch of the stirring bar raised to a reduced
by 100 rpm nominal speed. The fourth stirring bar breakaway -
each with less than 3 minutes of normal stirring time - the error
message is displayed ER 41.
The speed is reduced to 200 rpm, the heater is turned off.
In this case, the experimental conditions are elected.
NOTE: The user must determine the suitability or the function
of the stirring bar breakaway monitoring for each building -
stirring rod, speed, vessel, medium - test !
The stirring bar breakaway-monitoring does not work if the
stirring bar already at boot to the set speed tear off!
The higher the torque to be transmitted, the more reliable radio-
tioniert the stirring bar breakaway monitoring.
In a water-filled beaker to the stirring bar breakaway from a rod
length of 50 mm (d = 8 mm) detected from 300 to 1200 rpm.
Longer stirring rods, larger-stirring rod surfaces (eg Trika) or higher
speeds increase the torque to be transmitted.

Interval mode
The interval mode is a cyclical interruption of the stirring function.
The running time and the stop time can be set.
If the device is switched on and the interval mode is enabled, each
time is displayed.

Viscosity Trend Measurement
By the torque measurement trend can be inferred on the viscosity
profile of the reaction medium.
The units are not designed to measure absolute viscosity.
Measured and displayed, only the relative change in the medium
(in relation to a certain point by the user). As the control value is
highly dependent on the current speed should not be changed
during a measurement.
Once the speed of motor and magnetic stirring bar have stabilized
in the medium to the set speed, the viscosity measurement is
started at 100%.
As a result of an increase in the measured torque values trends by>
100% and a reduction of values is <100% is displayed.
By pressing button „Back" (F) the value can always be reset to
100%.
Note:
The trend torque measurement only at a constant speed
set for the duration of the measurement.
The interval mode can not be combined with the trend
torque measurement!
