4. To prevent rusting in the cylinders,
perform the following:
0 Remove the spark plug cap from the
spark plug. Using tape or string,
secure the cap to any convenient
plastic body part so that it is
positioned away from the spark plug.
0 Remove the spark plug from the
engine and store it in a safe place. Do
not connect the spark plug to the
spark plug cap.
0 Pour a tablespoon (15 — 20 cm3) of
clean engine oil into the cylinder and
cover the spark plug hole with a piece
of cloth.
0 With the engine stop switch in the
RUN position, press the start button
several times to crank the engine and
distribute the oil.
0 Reinstall the spark plug and spark
plug cap.
