Page 2 User’s guide COMB CHARACTERISTICS This comb delivers an electrical current just strong enough to kill fleas, yet without bothering the animal. The negative ions and active oxygen are released at both ends of the comb. They quickly penetrate into the animal's fur to eliminate foul smells. The negative ions are also able to dissipate the electrostatic phenomenon on your pet's fur, which in turn leaves a shinier coat.
Page 3 Fig. 2 Fleas typically begin to infest your cat or dog on the backside before working their way down the back onto the abdomen, at which point they spread over the animal's entire body. When a flea is detected, the buzz stops temporarily. It will only resume once the comb has been cleaned with a small cleaning brush included with the device (Figure 3).
