Oil Recommendations
Always check and change the engine oil at the intervals outlined in the Periodic Maintenance
Chart beginning on page 98. Oil may need to be changed more frequently if Polaris oil is not
used. Do not use automotive oil. See page 166 for the part numbers of Polaris products.

Outside air temperature is above 32 F/0 C
(or Synthetic SAE40)

Semi-Synthetic 20W-40
Outside air temperature is below 32 F/0 C
NOTICE: Mixing brands or using a non-recommended oil may cause serious engine damage. Always
use the recommended oil. Never substitute or mix oil brands.
