12-Volt DC Recharging
This unit is NOT intended for recharging a car battery.
Never start the car (vehicle) when the 12-volt DC recharging adapter is plugged into the
cigarette lighter.
NOTE: Charging the battery while the car engine is not running drains the car battery and is not
recommended. If the unit is used too long after the yellow light comes on, recharging time could take up to
7 hours.
To recharge the battery using the 12-volt DC adapter while driving, follow the subsequent procedures:
1.
Insert the 12-volt DC recharging adapter into the 12-volt DC output socket.
2.
Insert the other end into the cigarette lighter and rotate to make a good electrical contact.
3.
The inflator should be charged for 5 to 6 hours while driving before the initial use. After multiple uses,
recharge the inflator for 3 hours.
Battery Indicator Lights
Green and yellow lights show the battery condition while the compressor switch is
in the off position. The green light indicates a charged battery. The yellow light indicates the battery is low
and needs recharging. The red light indicates the AC charger is connected and charging.
If the battery is drained after the green light is off, the life of the battery may be shortened.
