Adjusting the Volume
Turn the On/Off/Volume Control Knob clockwise
to increase volume or counterclockwise to
decrease volume.
NOTE: Your radio can be programmed to have a
minimum volume offset where the
volume level cannot be turned down
fully. Check with your dealer or system
administrator for more information.
Audio Indicators for Programmable

indicators to indicate the change as they
alternate between two different choices.

Accessing the Radio from Password
Power up the radio.

You hear a continuous tone.

Use the Channel Selector Knob to enter the
first digit of the password.

Press Side Button 1, 2 or 3 to enter each digit
of the remaining three digits of the password.
You hear a positive indicator tone for each
Side Button press.
When the second digit of the password is
entered, your radio ignores any Channel
Selector Knob position change.

When the last digit of the four-digit password
is entered, your radio automatically checks
Negative
the validity of the password.
Indicator Tone
If the password is correct:
Currently in
Your radio proceeds to power up.
Zone 1
OR
If the password is incorrect:
Currently in
Repeater mode
You hear a continuous tone. Repeat Steps 1
to 3.
Stop Scan

After the third incorrect password, your radio

Your radio enters into locked state for 15
minutes, and responds to inputs from On/Off/

NOTE: The radio is unable to receive any call,

Selecting a Zone

Press the programmed Zone button.

You hear a positive indicator tone, indicating
the radio has switched from Zone 1 to Zone 2.
OR
You hear a negative indicator tone, indicating
the radio has switched from Zone 2 to Zone 1.
Selecting a Radio Channel,
Subscriber ID, or Group ID
1
Turn the On/Off/Volume Control Knob to
power up your radio.
2
Turn the Channel Selector Knob to select the
required channel, subscriber ID, or group ID.
Capacity Plus
Turn the Channel Selector Knob clockwise or
counterclockwise to access channels with
Capacity Plus.
