10. Prevention of legionella

Legionella is a bacterium that can cause legionnaire's disease. Infection can occur by
inhaling the bacterium through very small water droplets dispersed in the air (showers,
spray units or whirlpools). The bacterium can grow in standing water with a temperature of
20º-50ºC.
Simple basic prevention measures are:
Use always clean tap water.
Flush out the water hose before connecting it to the nebuliser.
Empty the DEHACO NANO carefully after use (see above).

9. Turning the unit off

1. Turn off the water supply.
2. WAIT UNTIL NO MORE WATER COMES OUT OF THE
WATER SPRAY!
3. Turn off the nebuliser and put out the plug from the socket!!
4. Disconnect the water hose from the NANO.
5. Turn the nebuliser 45º forward (photo), so that the remaining
water runs out.
You, the user, are responsible for the prevention of legionella.
