IMPORTANT - At the end of the ice fishing season, before storing for summer, please spray WD-40 on the blades. This simple maintenance prevents rusting during storage. Also, K-Drill offers free blade sharpening. See page 9 for details.

    K-Drill Ice Auger Operation WARNING - You must read and understand the following instructions before you can safely use the K-Drill ice auger. Proper Drill Setup 1) Ensure that you have an adequate drill, meaning a half- inch chuck and at least 725 in/lbs of torque.

    Too much slush in the hole can cause the K-Drill to bind and possibly get stuck in the ice hole. 5) Drill additional holes as needed, THEN put the Blade Protector back onto the auger.

    Safety and Usage Tips • DO NOT use the K-Drill Auger for anything else except for which it is intended-for drilling ice! It was not designed to drill into soil or lumber. • When drilling, keep a firm hold on the drill handle and side-arm. Also maintain proper footing and balance at all times.

    5) Torque bolt of center tip to 115 in/lbs. K-Drill Extension Installation The standard K-Drill can drill through up to 36” of ice. The K-Drill extension can be added for thicker ice conditions. Extensions can be “stacked” if needed to create a very long ice auger.
