OPERATING YOUR FREEZER Temperature Control Your freezer has one control for regulating the temperature freezer. Please refer to the “Parts and Features” section of this instruction manual for its location.
The condenser coils should be vacuumed when they are dusty or dirty. Do not use scourers or abrasives on any part of the freezer as this may cause damage to the surfaces. Vacation Time Turn off the freezer first and then unplug the unit from the wall outlet. Remove all the food.
Popping or cracking sound when compressor Metal parts undergo expansion and contraction, comes on. as in hot water pipes. This is normal. Sound will level off or disappear as freezer continues to run. Bubbling or gurgling sound, like water boiling. Refrigerant (used to cool freezer) is circulating throughout the system.
