6 SPECIAL SAFETY REGULATIONS

The polisher must have reached full speed before coming into contact with the
surface to be polished.
Must not be used for applying abrasives.
Use correct type of polishing cap for the job and replace when worn.
Do not press spindle lock in before disk has come to a complete stop.
6.1

Fitting support handle.

Check polisher is disconnected from mains.
Fit support grip (5) to housing.
you can fit it both on left or right side
of the machine, by screwing it in.

7 FITTING POLISHING DISK

Check polisher is disconnected from mains.
Press and hold spindle lock (6) down, and screw polishing disk (7) on by
turning it clockwise, with the polisher upside down.
Do not use tools. Tighten disk by hand.
Check disk is secure on spindle, that it spins freely and it does not catch when
spinning.
Switch polisher on and hold with polishing disk facing away from you. Allow
polisher to run for one minute to ensure disk is correctly attached.

8 FITTING POLISHING CAP

Place polishing cap (8) over polishing disk and carefully slip edges over disk all
the way round.
Tighten string and tie off with a knot.
Tuck excess string under cap to prevent it becoming loose during use.
Remove polishing cap by loosening the knot and carefully ease cap edge over
the edge of the disk.
