The formatting procedure erases all the data on the microSD
card, after which the files CANNOT be retrieved.
Set Up the microSD Card as Device Storage
If your microSD card is new or doesn't have content you want to
keep, you can format the card and use it as part of the device
storage. If you move the microSD card to another device, it'll be
formatted before it can be used.
1. Touch the ​ H ome ​ k ey ​ >
2. Touch the card name in the ​ P ortable storage​ section.
3. Touch ​ F ormat as internal​ .
4. Touch ​ E RASE & FORMAT​ .
CAUTION:

5. The device will prompt you to move your photos, files and
other data from the device to the microSD card.
