CAUTION

exchange of memory.
Expansion or exchange of memory is an out of warranty service and may result in
service charges.
To upgrade the PC, turn off the system and disconnect the power cord and battery.
Disconnect the telephone line if linked to the modem. An electric shock or fire may
occur.
Supported Memory
PC3-10600 (1333 MHz) DDR3L SDRAM SO-DIMM
PC3-12800 (1600 MHz) DDR3L SDRAM SO-DIMM
Supported memory types are different depending on the model. Make sure to check
the memory type when you purchase memory.
When you use two memory slots, make sure to use memory of the same
specification from the same company.
The operating speed of the memory depends on the maximum speed supported by
the internal memory controller (IMC) inside the CPU.
(E.g.) If the maximum speed supported by IMC is 1333 MHz, the PC3–12800
(1600 MHz) memory runs at 1333 MHz.
Preparing Memory
Before purchasing memory, study the specifications and features of the current memory.

Expanding / Replacing the Memory
Mainboard configuration, memory slot, and memory type may differ by model.
CAUTION
This product is the model with a curved-LCD. Any excessive force imposed on the screen
(panel) may result in product damage.
Before expanding or replacing the memory, place the product on the packaging box or
spread spongy material on a low table.
