• Only plug the appliance into a properly
installed plug socket. Do not use a multiple
socket outlet or an extension cable.
• The voltage stated on the specification plate of
the appliance must match the voltage of your
mains supply.
• When using the appliance, please ensure that
the power cable cannot pose a tripping hazard.
• Keep the power cable away from hot surfaces,
open flames and sharp edges. Take care during
use that the cable does not become trapped
(e.g. in doors).
• Never touch the appliance, power cable or plug
with wet or damp hands.
• Never submerge the appliance, power cable
or plug in water or other liquids. Danger of
electrocution and death!
• When unplugging the appliance, always grip
the plug and not the power cable.
• The appliance is only suitable for use in living
space. Do not use the appliance in damp
locations.
• Do not use the appliance near an open fire.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended while
in operation or while connected to a power
source.
• Please take care during use that no hair, loose
clothing or parts of the body come close to the
heating coil. Danger of burning.
• Please note when using the appliance that fat
or meat and vegetable juices can spray from
cooking food. Danger of burning.
• Dripping fat can burn on the heating element of
the appliance. This can cause smoke and flames
to form.
• If any flames develop, do not attempt to
extinguish them using water or other fluids.
Extinguish the flames using a fireproof cloth.
• Do not use the appliance in a location near
flammable gases, fluids or dust. Danger of
ignition and fire.
• No not place any objects or parts of the body
on the grilling surface. Danger of burning.
Danger of fire.
• To carry the appliance, always use the two
plastic handles on either side of the appliance.
Never use the power cable to carry the
appliance.

• Always leave the appliance to cool before
cleaning or repositioning. Please note that hot
fat / water may spill from the fat collection tray.

• When positioning the grill BBQ, please make
sure that it is on a stable, flat and heat-resistant
surface. Please ensure that the appliance cannot
tip over during use.
• Switch the appliance off and remove the plug
before cleaning.
• Children do not understand the dangers which
could arise from using electrical appliances.
Keep children away from the appliance. Please
be especially careful when using the appliance
if children are nearby.
• Keep all packaging material, for example
plastic bags and polystyrene pieces, out of
reach of children. Danger of suffocation.
• Do not use the appliance if there is any sign of
damage, if it has been dropped, or if it does not
work normally.
• Check the appliance, power cable and plug
regularly for visible signs of damage. Do not
under any circumstances use the appliance if
you have noticed any damage. Do not try to
repair the appliance yourself.
• Repairs should only be performed by a
qualified professional.
• Only use the appliance for the purpose for
which it has been designed.
• The appliance is only suitable for use in private
households and is not suitable for commercial
use.
