    The power should always be ON •Miura water softener is regularly working by a 24 hour-timer so it needs sustained electricity. The power should always be ON. If the power is OFF, it will not work, resulting in the situation the hardness water is supplied to the boiler causing scale punk in the boiler.
  • Page 14 Warning Inspect setting procedures below and check if it is correctly installed before using MS- type Miura water softener. Do not use it under the wrongly installed condition.     MS SERIES Before start the device, check next followings. Check the raw water pressure. 1.5~5kg/cm²is normal. *MS-10, 22, 30 0.15~0.49MPa{1.5~5.0Kgf/cm MS-40 0.18~0.49MPa{1.8~5.0Kgf/cm Note) In case DOR is set up in posterior, make the raw water pressure above 3kg/cm² . Check if regeneration salt is remaining in the salt tank.

    Procedure for removing air and check for backwashing process 1. With the entrance/exit valve closed, set the manual start pin in the location of <Backwashing> in the process-indicating plate. 2. Check if the bypass valve is water-passing. Open the entrance valve little by little. Once water enters the resin body inside, air is removed through the drain hose.

    MS SERIES Check for regeneration process 1. Set the manual start pin at ‘Start a’in the process-indicating plate. 2. Check if salt water is being reduced in the salt water tank. If the absorption of salt water is defective, it means the water pressure from the injector is low or air is being inhaled, which both need examination.

    Setting on water-passing Now, setting preparation is finished. Check the power, process location, water pressure, drain hose and so on again. If everything is okay, add the salt to the salt water tank, open the entrance valve of the water softener and locate the bypass valve in the water-passing.
