To encrypt the data in your phone or SD card:
1.
Charge the battery first. If the phone does not have sufficient battery charge, the
encryption process cannot be initiated.
2.
With your phone connected to the power source, from the Idle screen, press the Center
soft key
[Menu] > Tools & Settings > Settings > Phone settings > Security >
Encrypt & Decrypt data > Phone or SD card.
3.
Read the message and press the Right soft key
4.
Enter the PIN or password and press the Center soft key
5.
Read the message and press the Center soft key
process starts.
To decrypt the data in your phone or SD card:
1.
Charge the battery first. If the phone does not have sufficient battery charge, the
decryption process cannot be initiated.
2.
With your phone connected to the power source, from the Idle screen, press the Center

[Menu] > Tools & Settings > Settings > Phone settings > Security >

Read the message and press the Center soft key

Other Security Settings
1.
From the Idle screen, press the Center soft key
Settings > Phone settings > Security > Others.
2.
The following settings are available:
SIM card lock: Set up a PIN to lock your phone's SIM card (may not be available on
your device).
Make passwords visible: Allows you to see the password as you type.
Device administrators: View, activate, or deactivate device administrators.
