3. The web interface

A Gigaset base station can be configured by means of a web interface, provided that the PC
and the base station reside in the same subnet.
Login using the web interface is done in the following way:
1. On the base station, press the central button and then on the handset read the IP
address.
{ In case step 1 is not possible, an alternative procedure is:
a. After the handset registered at the base station, press the central navigation
button on the handset.
b. Navigate to the tools-icon and click on it.
c. Scroll to 'System' and click on it.
d. Scroll to 'Local network' and cllick on it.
e. Enter the System PIN (default setting is 0000) and click on 'OK'.

Now read the local IP address of the handset. }
2. Enter the IP address, in the address bar of the browser of the PC, and press Enter.
3. The PC will now show a login screen; choose a language, enter the system PIN (default
setting is 0000) and click on 'OK'.
4. After login to the web interface, the PC will show a starting screen.
