VPN Settings
On the Settings screen, touch VPN > Add
VPN to configure a virtual private network.
Mobile Network
Enable Data Roaming
1. From Wireless controls, touch Mobile
networks.
2. Touch the Data roaming check box to
connect to data services when roaming.
Set Data Roaming Guard
Data Roaming Guard prevents users from
accidentally establishing a data connection
when roaming.
1. From Wireless controls, touch Mobile
networks > Data roaming guard.
2. On the options menu, touch one of the
following:
• Default: Set data roaming guard to
default.
User Guide
• Always ask: Select to display the data
roaming guard confirmation message
when starting data communication.
• Never ask: Select to start data
communication without displaying the
data roaming guard confirmation
message.
Set Network Mode
1. From Wireless controls, touch Mobile
networks > Network mode.
2. On the options menu, touch your preferred
network mode.
Set Network Guard
Net guard prevents users from accidentally
connecting to a network.
1. From Wireless controls, touch Mobile
networks > Net guard.
2. On the options menu, touch one of the
following:
• Default: Set net guard to default.
• Always ask: Select to display the net
guard confirmation message when
starting communication.
• Never ask: Select to start connection
without displaying the net guard
confirmation message.
