Camera and Multimedia Applications
Camera and Camcorder
Your device has a camera which allows you to
take pictures and videos.
• To take pictures, activate the Camera.
• To record videos, activate Camcorder.
Camera Tips
Before using your device's camera, here are
some tips:
• You cannot activate the camera while on an
active call or while browsing files in the
gallery or playing videos.
• You cannot activate the camera when your
device is connected to a PC and the storage
card is recognized as a USB drive of the PC.
• If you get a low memory error, check the
resolution and quality compression
settings.
• Camera menu settings can only be accessed
when the camera is active.
Activate the Camera
Do one of the following to activate the camera.
• Touch Home, open the applications tab,
touch Camera.
• Press and hold the Camera key.

1. Orange bar indicates the brightness level.
2. Review button
3. Slide to select capture mode
4. Camera button
5. Zoom control
Take Pictures
1. Activate the camera.
2. Frame your subject on the screen.
3. Scroll the trackball to adjust the brightness
level.
4. Do one of the following to take the picture:
• Press the Camera key.
• Touch the Camera button on the screen.
