If the AcuRite 75133M clock stops working after changing the battery, follow these steps:
1. Check Battery Type – Ensure you are using high-quality alkaline or lithium batteries. Avoid heavy-duty or rechargeable batteries. 2. Verify Battery Installation – Insert the batteries following the correct polarity (+/-) as shown in the battery compartment. 3. Use Lithium Batteries in Cold Conditions – If the temperature is below -4°F (-20°C), use a lithium battery instead of an alkaline one. 4. Secure Weather-Resistant Covers – Make sure the battery compartment covers are properly replaced to protect the clock from environmental damage. 5. Manually Reset the Time – Turn the set knob on the back of the clock to reset the time.
If the clock still does not work, try replacing the batteries with new ones or checking for any visible damage.

Install or Replace Batteries AcuRite recommends high quality alkaline or lithium* batteries for the best product performance. Heavy duty or rechargeable batteries are not recommended. *The clock movement requires a lithium battery in low temperature conditions. Cold temperatures can cause alkaline batteries to function improperly. Use a lithium battery in the clock movement for temperatures below -4°F / -20°C.
