ITALIAN MEATBALLS
INGREDIENTS:
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. Italian sausage
2 eggs
1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
DIRECTIONS:
1.
In a bowl, beat eggs and add milk.
2.
Add beef and Italian sausage. Mix together.
3.
Add rest of ingredients and mix until combined.
4.
Shape the mixture into 1 inch balls and place on a greased
cookie sheet. Bake at 350°F. for 15 minutes. Add to slow cooker.
SAUCE:
INGREDIENTS:
15 oz. can tomato sauce
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 cup beef broth
2 garlic cloves minced
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
DIRECTIONS:
1.
Mix all ingredients in a bowl and pour over the meatballs.
2.
Cover and cook on Low for 4 - 5 hours.

3 Tbsp. grated parmesan cheese

1-6 oz. can tomato paste
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1/3 cup water
1 tsp. dried oregano
1/8 – 1/4 tsp. hot pepper flakes

INGREDIENTS:
3 lbs. ground beef
1 cup celery diced
1 1/2 cup ketchup
1 6 oz. can tomato paste
1/2 tsp. paprika
3 Tbsp. brown sugar
salt and pepper
DIRECTIONS:
1.
Brown ground beef in a skillet and break up into small pieces.
2.
Add to slow cooker. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
3.
Turn on low and cook for 8 hours.
4.
Serve on hamburger buns.
CHILI DIP
INGREDIENTS:
1 lb. ground beef
2 cans refried beans
1/2 tsp. chili powder
8 oz. cheddar cheese shredded
DIRECTIONS:
1.
Brown ground beef and onion in a pan.
2.
Drain and add to pot.
3.
Add beans, picante sauce, jalapenos (if using) and chili powder.
4.
Turn on low and cook for 2 - 3 hours.
5.
Add cheese and sour cream last 1/2 hour.
6.
Serve with tortilla chips.

2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
3/4 cup water
3 Tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 16 oz. jar mild picante sauce
8 oz. sour cream
1/2 cup chopped onion
Jalapenos or mild chilies to taste
