Please determine the cause of the problem before making any repair.
Excessively long operation period of the compressor may resulted from,
• Initial operation
• Large quantity of food loaded
• Door not properly closed.
• Frequent opening of the door
• Hot weather
• Higher level position is selected. (refer to section „Operation")
• Poor ventilation
Thick frost formation on food
• Frozen food in packing materials.
• Door improperly closed.
• Frequent opening of the refrigerator door.
• Food close to air vent.
Strange odor
• Failure to seal food properly
• Rotting food inside refrigerator
• Failure of regular cleaning of the refrigerator
Ice maker does not operate properly.
• Cubed ices get stuck. Remove and break down the stuck cubed ices.
Only separated cubed ices can be replaced to the cubed ice tray.
• If stored for an extended period, cubed ices may get stuck.
• If excessively smaller or larger cubed ices are supplied, adjust water supply of the icemaker.
• When power supply is interrupted, remove all the cubed ices and dry the cubed ice tray, as cubed ices
may be defrosted and defrosted water may fl ow to the freezer compartment.
Failure of cubed ice supply
• No cubed ice in cubed ice tray. Wait until cubed ices are available.
• Water supply valve is turned off. Turn of the water supply valve.
• High temperature is set for the freezer compartment. Set freezer temperature to lower degree to improve
ice making effi ciency.
• Refrigerator or freezer compartment door is not closed. Close all the doors of the appliance.
Dispenser blockage
• Defrost stuck on the auger due to operation interruption, temperature variation or high voltage.
Empty, clean and dry the cubed ice tray before replacing it to the dispenser.
• Cubed ice blockage between ice maker and cubed ice tray.
Remove the cubed ices.
• Cubed ices get stuck.
Operate the dispenser regularly.
• Foreign cubed ices are used in the dispenser. Only cubed ices produced by this ice maker can be used
for the dispenser.
