Network
Select
> Settings > Config. > Phone > Network and from the
following:
Network mode—to select which network to use (shown only if supported
by the service provider). If you select Dual mode, the phone uses the
GSM or UMTS network automatically.
Operator selection—To set the phone to search for and automatically
select one of the available networks, select Automatic. To select the
desired network manually from a list of networks, select Manual. The
selected network must have a roaming agreement with your home
network.
Cell info display (network service)—to set the phone to indicate when it
is used in a cellular network based on microcellular network (MCN)
technology and to activate cell info reception
Connection
Select
> Settings > Config. > Connection and from the following:
Bluetooth—to switch Bluetooth on or off, and edit Bluetooth settings.
See "Bluetooth connection settings.
USB—to edit USB settings. See ""USB," p. 67."
Destinations—to define the connection methods used for reaching a
particular destination
Data counter—to set the data counter connection and access points.
Data call—to set the online time for the data call connection. The data
call settings affect all access points that use a GSM data call.
Video sharing—to set video sharing on or off, SIP profile, video saving,
preferred memory, and alert note.
Presence—to define the server name, SIP profile, XDM settings, number
of contacts and subscriptions, and the domain language editor.
SIP configuration—to set or edit the default or existing profile.
XDM profile—to define the XDM connection methods, access points, and
password.
