Remove t he front w h eel.

Remove t h e front forks.

Loosen t h e steer ing stem by stem nut
wrenc h .

Loo s e n the t hread nut by pin spanner.
• Remove t h e top cone race and upper
steel balls.
•
Remo v e steering stem and under steel
balls and bottom cone race.
Not e :
B e sure not to lose steel balls.

Inspect t h e condition of st e el balls and
corn races. If there .are worn out or
defaced p arts, replace them
ones.

Pull out t h e race with ball race re­
mover.
