Note: The REC button must be pressed TWICE to
record from your VCR. For some brands of VCRs, you
might need to press the REC button once, then press it
again for three seconds.
Some buttons on the remote might have functions that
are referred to by different names on the device you are
controlling. E.G. PREV.CHAN may be called RECALL, or
ENTER may be called DISPLAY. These differences
depend on the brand and model of your product. Also,
this remote can only operate features that exist on your
product. E.G., your product must have PREV.CHAN
ability for the PREV.CHAN button to operate this
feature.

1.
Red Indicator Lights when any button is pressed.
2.
TV, SAT, DVD,CBL/AUX, VCR Selects product to be
operated.
3.
INPUT/TV/SAT For some TVs, press repeatedly to select
from available viewing sources (antenna, cable box, VCR,
etc.).
4.
AUDIO Toggles between multilingual audio tracks (if
available) .
5.
ZOOM Zooms or enlarges a specific area of the screen.
WIDE Changes the picture aspect ratio e.g. Wide,
Panorama, etc.
6.
INFO brings up the Channel Banner and/or shows
information about the current show.
7.
CHANNEL UP/DOWN Changes the channels. SKIP +/-
controls DVD/CD track selection i.e. DVD/CD Track Skip
Up/Down (in DVD and SAT modes). Note the VCR buttons
also control DVD when in DVD Mode.
8.
PREV. CHAN Returns to the previously selected channel,
or DVD repeat toggle. REPEAT A-B performs DVD players
"A-B Repeat" (or RPT A.B) function for repeat play of
current Chapter or Track.
9.
MEM/MARKER Stores and plays back favorite portions of
the disc.
10. NUMBERS Enter numbers for direct channel selection.
Some products require Enter to be pressed after channel
selection.
11. LIVE TV goes to Live TV broadcast. >10 Use with digit
keys to select tracks greater than 10. "-" (Dash) use with
the 0-9 buttons to select digital video sub-channels if
available e.g. 2-1, 2-2, etc. Also operates your Satellite (or
Cable) +100 channel function.
12. RECORD, PLAY, STOP, REW, FF, PAUSE
VCR control buttons operate your VCR even when the
remote is set to operate the TV. Also operates DVD Scan -/
+.
13. REPLAY Replays the last few seconds of a program.
14. LEARN Used to setup learning functions. Backlighting
Press to turn on or off. Turns off 5 seconds after last
button press.
15. CODE SEARCH Used for setup.
16. L1, L2 Used for learning additional commands.
17. M1, M2 Used for storing Macros.
18. MACRO Initiates stored Macros.
19. ADVANCE Catches you up to the live broadcast.
20. ENTER Used after direct channel number entry to
immediately change to the selected channel.
21. EXIT Used to exit menu functions.
22. OK/SELECT Selects menu items for the device you are
controlling.
23. UP, DOWN, LEFT & RIGHT navigation buttons. Also
accesses TiVo Central.
24. PAGE/THUMBS UP & DOWN Moves one screen at a
time up or down in TV guides and menus or sets your
Thumbs ratings for TiVo players.
25. GUIDE Displays Program Guide and/or listings.
26. MENU brings up the Main Menu screen - use with the UP,
DOWN, LEFT & RIGHT navigation buttons. Also
accesses TiVo Central.
27. VOLUME UP/DOWN Changes the volume level of the
product, normally the TV.
28. MUTE Turns off the TV sound while the picture remains.
29. POWER Turns product On or Off.
