If the MELAG Vacuklav 24 B+ shows a vacuum system error after a power outage, check the following:

- Inspect the door seal and chamber flange for cleanliness; clean if contaminated.
- Check the door seal for damage and replace if necessary.
- Ensure the door seal is correctly inserted.
- Repeat the vacuum test with the device completely cold.

If the leakage rate remains above the maximum permissible value (1.3 mbar), contact MELAG customer service.

If you use closed materials or shell halves to bear the items to be sterilized, you risk bad drying results. Please note that the use of tray insertions made of paper can perhaps likewise lead to worse drying results.
