The tamper protection itself is concealed inside Repeater's body in such a way that
when it is affixed by wall-plugs, it is pressed. If the Repeater is lifted, the tamper
protection will be activated immediately. To enable this function, switch DIP Switch 8
to ON, to disable it, switch DIP Switch 8 to OFF.

A power adapter connected to wall socket is required. Only an adapter with the
suitable AC voltage, which is DC 12 V 1 A, is to be used in order to prevent damage
to the components.

The Repeater will send an AC Failure signal to the Active SmartHome Gateway if

the power adapter is unplugged for 30-60 seconds. Once reconnected, the
Repeater will send an AC Restore signal to the Active SmartHome Gateway.

In addition to the adapter, there is a rechargeable battery inside the Repeater,
which serves as an emergency power supply in the event of the failure of the
mains supply.

Open the cover on the bottom of Repeater, and turn the battery switch on, so
that it starts operating from internal battery. It takes approximately 72 hours to
fully charge the battery.

If the power adapter is unplugged, the Repeater will be powered by the battery.
When battery voltage is low, the LED flashes green.
