    1 Introduction ............................The Mine Site Technologies MinePhone MP10 is a Voice over Wireless LAN (VoWLAN) phone designed for use in hazardous environments. It is an integral component in the MST ImPact Coal product suite, allowing for two way voice and text communication over underground wireless networks.

Phones will by default attempt to connect to a TFTP server and download site and device specific configuration files at startup.

This allows for new handsets to be turned on in range of this Access Point (AP) and retrieve the mine's specific network settings.
