Problem
The hob deactivates.
Residual heat indicator
does not come on.
Hob²Hood function does
not work.
Automatic Heat Up func‐
tion does not operate.
The heat setting changes
between two levels.
The sensor fields become
hot.
There is no signal when
you touch the panel sensor
fields.
The flexible induction
cooking area does not heat
up the cookware.

Possible cause
You put something on the
sensor field
.
The zone is not hot be‐
cause it operated only for a
short time.
You covered the control
panel.
The zone is hot.
The highest heat setting is
set.
Power management func‐
tion operates.
The cookware is too large
or you put it too near to the
controls.
The signals are deactiva‐
ted.
The cookware is in the
wrong position on the flexi‐
ble induction cooking area.
The diameter of the bottom
of the cookware is incor‐
rect for the activated func‐
tion or function mode.
Automatic Switch Off oper‐
ates.
Remedy
Remove the object from
the sensor field.
If the zone operated suffi‐
ciently long to be hot,
speak to an Authorised
Service Centre.
Remove the object from
the control panel.
Let the zone become suffi‐
ciently cool.
The highest heat setting
has the same power as the
function.
Refer to "Daily use" chap‐
ter.
Put large cookware on the
rear zones if possible.
Activate the signals.
Refer to "Daily use" chap‐
ter.
Place the cookware in the
correct position on the flex‐
ible induction cooking
area. The position of the
cookware depends on the
activated function or func‐
tion mode.
Refer to "Flexible induction
cooking area" chapter.
Use cookware with diame‐
ter applicable to the activa‐
ted function or function
mode. Use cookware with
diameter smaller than 160
mm on a single section of
the flexible induction cook‐
ing area.
Refer to "Flexible induction
cooking area" chapter.
Deactivate the hob and ac‐
tivate it again.
