  • Page 4 1. SAFE USAGE •SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS The instructions in this user’ s guide include critical information for safe use. When you do not keep the instructions, you may cause death, serious injury and property damage. Please always keep in mind that Brush Cutter is a machinery that uses sharp blades and gasoline, which is an inflammable matter.
  • Page 5 Wear clothing that is suitable for work. ■Wear slip resistant safety shoes. ■Wear gloves when working. ■Tie long hairs above shoulders. ■Do not wear hanging down clothes, neckties, scarves, or ribbons. Working with unsuitable clothing can become a cause of accident by slipping, getting burned, or getting caught in the machine while working.
  • Page 6 ■ Fire Hazard Do not open the fuel tank cap or refuel while the engine is running or when the engine is hot. ■It can cause fire or burn. Do not smoke or make a bonfire near the Brush Cutter. ■It can cause a fire.
  • Page 7 Check tightness of each part before using. ■If used with loosened parts or without some parts, the product can be damaged or cause injuries. Absolutely do not use when there is something wrong with blade. ■If used when there is something wrong with blade such as being nicked, cracked or bent, it can cause death or injury.

    •REGARDING HOW TO ASSEMBLE How to assenble the drive shaft tube and flexible shaft hose. Keyang brush cutter is separated in 3 different parts at large; Main body(Engine part), Flexible shaft hose part and Working bar. Please assemble as following order and technigues.

    3. HOW TO OPERATE •HOW TO START THE ENGINE Fuel gets filled in fuel tank.     •HOW TO TURN OFF THE ENGINE (1) Put the throttle lever in low speed position; and low speed make the engine in idling condition. (2)When push the stop switch, engine gets stopped. Until the fuel gets finished, never use the engine. When gets fuel finished (1)throttle lever (2)stop switch during working, it's very hard to get started for next operation.

    4. CORRECT USAGES •MAINTENANCE AND LONG-TERM STORAGE 1. How to care after working 1) After the work is completed, detach the washer A from the gear assembly and clean out scraps, grass, etc, lodged inside. Clean and apply oil sparingly.     3) How to dispose the remaining fuel When storing for a long-tem, drain the fuel from the fuel tank and drain the fuel that remains within the Carburetor chamber following the contour of the chamber as shown by the illustration. If it is stored with fuel in the fuel tank for a long-tem, the engine oil(lubricating oil)settles at the bottom of the fuel tank and becomes a cause for failure to start.
