    ELECTRICAL CONNECTION (UK ONLY) For your safety please read the following information. The appliance must be connected to a 220-240 volts 50 cycle AC supply by means of a three pin socket, suitably earthed. The appliance is supplied with a rewireable 13 amp 3 pin mains plug fitted with a 5 amp fuse. Should the fuse require replacement, it must be replaced with a fuse rated at 5 amp and approved to BS1362.

Always disconnect the blender from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning CAUTION: Ensure that the blender is switched off before removing it from the stand. Avoid contacting moving parts.

    BEFORE FIRST USE: Thoroughly clean all the parts of the blender before you use the blender for the first time (See chapter ‘CLEANING’). OPERATION: 1. Place the motor base on a stable, level surface. 2. Mount the jug onto the motor base and turn the jug clockwise until it fixes properly. Make sure the tabs on the bottom of the jug are aligned with the grooves on the top of the motor base.

    The appliance is designed to be operated without interruption for a maximum of 3 minute. Allow to cool down before further use. CLEANING: Always unplug the blender before cleaning. Detach the jug from the motor base. Detach the lid and inner cover from the jug. Wash them in warm soapy water.
