Pairing
1 . To pair a ZigBee or Z-Wave device with the
ONT, click on the green icon at the bottom
of the Smart Home screen . The menu
expands to show four options [Figure 1] .
2 . Click on Pair Devices, then select Z-Wave
or ZigBee [Figure 2] . Click Start .
3 . The ONT goes into the pairing mode .
Supported Z-Wave and ZigBee devices
(listed in the Appendix) can be paired with
the ONT this way [Figure 3a] .
When the device has successfully paired,
you will see a Done message [Figure 3b] .
If the pairing mode times out (at 5 minutes
for Z-Wave and 3 minutes for ZigBee
devices), the screen in Figure 3c tells
you pairing has failed .
