DISMANTLING INSTRUCTIONS CDR570/930

CDR module includes :
Loader 81
CDR main board 1001
Loader bracket 82, 83
⇒
Put the CDR player's rear side facing you.
⇒
Take the 2 wire connections to PSU 1003
and display board 1002 out of the two
wire clamps 215, 216 on screening bracket 270.
⇒
Undo flex connection on I/O board 1004.
⇒
Remove screw 94 (screening bracket 270,
→ frame 181).
CDR main board
⇒
Remove screw 205
→ back plate 266).
(mains connector
⇒ → frame 181).
Remove screw 173 (back plate 266
⇒
Remove back plate assy (incl. back plate 266,
screening bracket 270 and I/O board 1004).
⇒
Undo the 2 wire connections on CDR main board.
⇒ → 93
Remove 4 screws 90
(loader bracket 82, 83 → frame 181).
⇒
Remove CDR module.
⇒
Undo flex connection on CDR main board.
Attention : flex is not part of the CDR module
and has to stay with CDR player in case
of CDR module exchange !
WARNING: POSSIBILITY OF HIGH
VOLTAGE (300V) ON HEAT SINK PSU !

I/O board 1004

Put CDR player's rear side facing you. Put the CDR player's rear side facing you.
⇒ Undo flex connection to CDR main board 1001. ⇒
Take the 2 wire connections to PSU 1003
and display board 1002 out of the two
⇒ Remove 3 screws 200 → 202, connecting
wire clamps 215, 216 on screening bracket 270.
the 3 I/O sockets to back plate 266.
⇒
Undo flex connection on I/O board 1004.
⇒ Remove board.
⇒
Remove screw 94 (screening bracket 270,
Attention : flex is not part of the I/O board
CDR main board
and has to stay with CDR player in case
of I/O board exchange ! ⇒
Remove screw 205
(mains connector
⇒
Remove screw 173 (back plate 266
⇒
Remove back plate assy (incl. back plate 266,
screening bracket 270 and I/O board 1004).
⇒
Undo the 2 wire connections on PSU.
⇒
Remove 2 screws 190, 192
(PSU board
⇒
Unlock 2 snap on spacers 194, 195.
⇒
Remove PSU.

Remove 7 screws 166
↓
2 at each side and 3 at rear side.
disassembling
⇒
Lift cover at rear side to remove.
Power supply unit 1003
⇒
Put the CDR player's front side facing you.
⇒
Remove 2 screws 182, 183
(front assy 1
⇒
Unlock front assy from frame by releasing 6 snaps :
start with 1 in each foot at the bottom, then 2 on the top
and 1 on each side.
→ frame 181).
⇒
After disassembly put in front of the set (service position).
→ back plate 266).
→ frame 181).
⇒
Unscrew ground wire to frame.
→ frame 181). ⇒
Remove easy jog knob 35 pulling it forward.
⇒
Remove 6 screws 26
⇒
Undo the 2 wire connections on display board.
WARNING: POSSIBILITY OF HIGH
VOLTAGE (300V) ON HEAT SINK,
EVEN AFTER REMOUNTING OF
PCB. DISCHARGE ELCAP 2121.
Front assy 1

Undo wire connection to PSU 1003.
⇒
Remove screw 106
→ frame 181).
(on/off switch

Remove on/off switch and
power button assy 9 from set.
⇒
Remove power button assy 9 from on/off switch.
Display board 1002
→ 31.
On/Off switch 1002
