If the correct switch is pressed, the sine wave sounds on the pitch shown in the
Table 2 and the 7segment LED indicates the next number.
In addition, the LED lights up as for the LED-attached switch.
If the wrong switch is pressed, the 7segment LED indicates 'nG'.
After the last switch is checked, the 7segment LED indicates 'PAS'.
All LED ON Check
Confirm that all LEDs on the panel light up.
Soft Pedal Check
When the soft pedal is depressed, the sine wave of C3 sounds and 7segment
LED indicates 'Str'.
When the pedal is released, the sine wave of C4 sounds and 7segment LED in-
dicates 'PAS'.
When the sostenuto pedal is depressed, the sine wave of C3 sounds and 7seg-
ment LED indicates 'Str'.
When the pedal is released, the sine wave of C4 sounds and 7segment LED in-
dicates 'PAS'.
Damper Pedal Check
When the damper pedal is depressed, the sine wave of C3 sounds and 7segment
LED indicates 'Str'.
When the pedal is released, the sine wave of C4 sounds and 7segment LED in-
dicates 'PAS'.
MIDI Check
Connect MIDI IN and MIDI OUT terminal by a MIDI cable and execute the
test.
Confirm that the 7segment LED indicates 'PAS'.
TO HOST Check
Short-circuit pin3 and pin5, pin6 and pin8 of TO HOST terminal respectively
and execute the test.
Select the position of HOST SELECT switch according to the 7segment LED
display, and confirm that the following note sounds and 7segment LED indi-
cates 'PAS'.
PC-1 position: C3, PC-2 position: C4, MAC position: C5
ROM Check 2 (for factory test only)
RAM Check 2 (for factory test only)
Wave ROM Check 2 (for factory test only)
Backup Check 2 (for factory test only)
Factory
Initializes all RAMs to the factory preset data.
Exit the test program and return to the play mode.
