Your Notebook PC can be powered by either external AC adapter or built-in battery
pack.
This chapter will show you how to use and manage power as effi ciently as possible
while using this Notebook PC. Please follow the battery management instructions for
the best battery performance.
This chapter covers:
AC adapter, Charging, Replacing battery packs, What should you do when the battery
is low, Power management, Tips for power-saving.
AC ADAPTER
Important The AC adapter is for your Notebook PC only. It may cause damage to the
AC adapter or the connected device if the adapter is connected to other appliances.
When disconnecting the AC adapter, you must unplug the plug of AC adapter fi rst and
then unplug the powerconnector to your Notebook PC. Failure to do so may cause
damage to the Notebook PC or the AC adapter because of the voltage and current
surge.
When unplugging, do not pull on the power cable, you should hold the plug grip
