8. Cleaning

Stop any momentary measuring, switch off the multimeter and remove the measuring lines.
Externally the casing of the multimeter can be cleaned with a clean, soft and dry cloth (which
can be damped a little bit in slightly warm water for more concentrated dirt). Never use
aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as the surface of the housing could be
damaged. Do not apply excessive pressure to the display, which may lead to damages or
scratches.
After cleaning, allow the product to dry completely before operating it again!
You can very easily remove dust with a clean and soft brush.

9. Changing the fuse

Stop any momentary measuring, switch off the multimeter
and remove the measuring lines.
Open the battery compartment. Remove the screw on the
back, open the battery compartment and remove the battery.
Underneath the battery are brackets for internal fuses (the
fuse F0.2A/250V is on the left, the fuse F 10A/250V is on the
right).
Replace the fuse with a fuse of the same type, observe the
triggering characteristics and the voltage value.
It is not permitted to repair fuses or bridge the fuse holder. This may lead
to overload and damage of the multimeter and there is also the risk of a
fatal electric shock!
After chaging the fuse insert the battery observing the correct polarity and close the battery
compartment again. Only then the multimeter can be operated again.
