Prerequisites

1 Remove the optical
2 Remove the base
3 Remove the I/O
4 Remove the hard
5 Remove the battery.

1 Open the latch and disconnect the status-light board cable from the system
board.
2 Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board.
3 Remove the speaker cable from the routing guides on the palm rest and
